Not all Mondays are bad.

Late last night, Alabama coach Nick Saban picked up his 10th verbal commitment for the recruiting class of 2017 when 4-star offensive tackle Elliot Baker pledged to the Crimson Tide.

โ€œOh man, it feels incredible,โ€ Baker told 247Sportsย of his commitment. โ€œIโ€™m just really pleased with my decision. Iโ€™m happy that I can focus on school and the upcoming season (now).โ€

Baker, who stands at 6-foot-7, 295 pounds, is the No. 2-ranked JUCO player in his classย and despite not having any offers during his high school recruitment, he received 18ย after spending last season at City College of San Francisco.

โ€œJust meeting with coach (Nick) Saban,โ€ Baker said of when he knew he wanted to commit. โ€œHe told me I could sleep on it, but I told him Iโ€™m sure. Iโ€™m all in. He was really happy. He was excited about it.

โ€œHe just explained to me the process they have at Alabama and everything that kind of goes into making their program what it is. Thereโ€™s so much stuff.โ€

Alabama’s 2017 class now ranks No. 3 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC.
