Alabama DL Dee Liner tweets he’s transferring

Alabama defensive lineman Dee Liner says he’ll transfer from the university via Twitter.

Officially been released from the UofA!! Wanna thank them for everything they have done for me and the opportunity they gave me! ??

Liner has been buried on the Crimson Tide’s depth chart, and this isn’t too big of a surprise. The Muscle Shoals native hasn’t expressed where he intends to transfer yet.

Exiting high school, Liner was the No. 46 overall player and the No. 4 overall defensive tackle in the country, according to 247Sports.
