Even the nation’s top-ranked 2015 class isn’t immune from late-January decommitments.

Four-star defensive back and Alabama commit Rico McGraw has opened up his recruitment sources have told 247sports. McGraw, a speedy safety from Nashville, is reportedly interested in Georgia and is being courted by defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt.

He’s expected to take an official visit to Athens before next week.

McGraw’s decommitment leaves the Crimson Tide with 23 players in the 2015 class which is still ranked as the most talented in the nation according to 247Sports composite. Alabama still has four defensive backs committed including a pair of early enrollees — four-star safeties Deionte Thompson and Ronnie Harrison.

If the Bulldogs get McGraw, it would soften the blow of four-star cornerback Shaquery Wilson’s decommitment this week and likely push Georgia’s class strength back into the Top 5 nationally.
