Alabama quarterback commit Tua Tagovailoa is making a name for himself at The Opening recruiting showcase this weekend.

After helping fellow Crimson Tide commits win a Tug’o’War battle on Friday, Tagovailoa showed off more traditional quarterback skills on Sunday.

The four-star Hawaiian connected with Jerry Jeudy, a four-star wide receiver from Florida during a 7-on-7 game:

Tagovailoa shows off a cannon arm, a tight spiral and a nice pump-fake on this throw to Jeudy, hitting the uncommitted receiver just before a defender was able to make a play on the ball.

Jeudy, a four-star receiver from Florida, is considering SEC schools Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. He’s also considering offers from schools like Miami and Florida State.

However, with throws like that from Tagovailoa, he may have bumped the Crimson Tide to the top of the list today.
