It’s been said time and time again as the season comes to a close.

Those who thought it was a mistake to hire Lane Kiffin at Alabama are now officially wrong.

Kiffin has molded Blake Sims into one of the nation’s most efficient quarterbacks, put Amari Cooper at the top of the receiving ranks, and reshaped the Alabama offense completely.

There were two moments during the year that he blew some minds: the 39-yard touchdown pass from Sims to Cooper in the third quarter of the Iron Bowl, as well as the almost identical 58-yard touchdown to DeAndrew White in the second quarter of the SEC Championship game. During the Iron Bowl play, Kiffin raised his arms signaling a touchdown before Sims had even finished his dropback from the snap, and in the SEC Championship, it only took him another beat to do the same, signaling touchdown before Sims even threw the ball.

Check it out and tell your nearest Kiffin-basher that his argument is invalid.
