Late Wednesday evening Sports Illustrated reported that Michigan would be dropping its home-and-home series with Arkansas, which was scheduled for 2018 and 2019, in favor of renewing the Wolverines’ rivalry with Notre Dame.

Teddy Greenstein at the Chicago Tribune spoke to Arkansas coach Bret Bielema, on vacation in London, about the cancellation.

“I’m definitely disappointed,” Bielema said. “It was going to be an opportunity to play one of my favorite teams from the Big Ten.”

Greenstein followed up by asking what Arkansas might do with the $2 million Michigan will pay the school for canceling.

The ever-quotable Bielema did not disappoint.

“Maybe host a satellite camp in Cabo?”

We’re guessing this is one camp where Jim Harbaugh won’t be invited.
