It was an ugly first half for the Razorbacks secondary as the Hogs enter halftime trailing 21-14.

Auburn’s backup quarterback Jeremy Johnson has been nearly perfect in the first half going 12-for-16 for 243 yards and two touchdowns.

JUCO wide receiver transfer Duke Williams has emerged as Johnson’s primary target and has taken advantage of the Razorbacks’ weak secondary. So far, the newcomer has seven receptions for 138 yards and one touchdown.

With the exception of Auburn’s final drive, Arkansas has failed to get much pressure on Johnson and the secondary is leaving gaping holes open in the middle of the field. Whether it’s a discrepancy in talent or just a poor game plan, Arkansas secondary desperately needs to adjust during halftime to keep pace with Auburn for the remaining 30 minutes of the game.

Arkansas is tied with Auburn heading into the half at 21-21.
