Oops: Alabama's logo commandeers Auburn's SEC Network takeover
Auburn’s SEC Network takeover was anything but smooth late Saturday night and into early Sunday morning.
The Tigers were set to take over all the programming with all Auburn everything as part of the network’s 14-team takeover through July 31.
For the next 24 hours… we are all Auburn everything!

Except to start, it wasn’t “all Auburn everything.” The network had the #SECNTakeover hashtag with the Alabama logo, not the Auburn logo, in the right hand corner of the screen during the 1989 Iron Bowl. That’s something that will pique the interest of fans, and Alabama and Auburn reporters were quick to mention it.
You're doing it wrong, @SECNetwork. Might wanna fix that. pic.twitter.com/uMH8o0GZ7p

So I see the @SECNetwork is going with the "same state, close enough" philosophy with its Auburn logo choice. pic.twitter.com/l2C7demMMI

Hey @SECNetwork, fix the takeover logo now. Like, right now. #auburn #wareagle pic.twitter.com/lwlouYVFOD

Looks like #Alabama has somehow managed to overtake #Auburn's @SECNetwork takeover. That's gonna upset some folks. https://t.co/M3a6U3yDxw

And the @SECNetwork finally switched to the Auburn logo as the 89 Iron Bowl is played

Order was finally restored, and it was fixed nearly an hour into the ’89 Iron Bowl.
We did it, you guys. @SECNetwork fixed it. pic.twitter.com/LkUwCys2Tl
