Former Auburn RB Tre Mason has been placed on the “reserve/did not report” list after failing to show up Los Angeles Rams training camp on Saturday afternoon.

Mason’s status means that he is not counted on the Rams’ official roster. The news is not surprising, as Mason has dropped communication with the team and was previously excused from mini-camp for personal reasons.

Mason was arrested for reckless driving, among other charges, in March near his Florida home. His family recently expressed concern about his mental health.

The former Tigers running back played a key role on the team that won an SEC title and played in the BCS Championship Game in his final season. Mason, a 2013 Heisman finalist, notched a season-record 1,816 rushing yards as a junior.
