This is a quick look at the lines for this weeks SEC matchups. Later on this week we will reevaluate each game and decide if and where we will be placing our bets. Typically I do not bet until later in the week, unless there is a line that I feel is favorable and could go up, i.e. last week when LSU opened at -16 @ UT.

The best advice I ever received on betting college football was from my father when he said “Don’t”. The second best advice I ever received, and I wish I remembered the source, was to find out who the public was betting on and do the opposite. This advice is sometimes easier said than done. Below

The Florida Gators are 9 point underdogs against Alabama this weekend. This is the first time that UF has been an underdog since 2007, when they played LSU in Baton Rouge. The spread for that game was 7 points and was Tim Tebow’s 2nd road start of his career. This will be John Brantley’s 2nd

Below are two bets that I like and why: UGA @ Mississippi State (MSU -1): Are you kidding me? Georgia has lost two very close games to quality opponents. They played well last week in a loss to #10 Arkansas, and it took a last minute drive for them to get beat. I don’t think

Ryan Mallett Heisman fever is officially in full force when someone makes a highlight video of you to the tune of M.C. Hammer’s “Can’t touch this”. If Mallett can win against Alabama, he has to be the front runner for the Heisman. Enjoy!
