The Florida Gators are in the market for the country’s hottest graduate transfer in former Notre Dame QB Everett Golson.

Golson visited Florida Tuesday, as first reported by SI.com’s Andy Staples.

The Gators are unsettled at quarterback following spring practice. Redshirt freshman Will Grier and sophomore Treon Harris battled for the job, and the competition is likely to go through fall camp.

Reports also surfaced Tuesday that Golson is “negotiating” with Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Georgia and South Carolina are also potential landing spots for Golson. There is no timetable for Golson’s decision.
