We know where former Florida quarterback will be continuing his college career, and it’s in the Big 12.

According to ESPN’s Travis Haney, Grier will be transferring to West Virginia. It was reported back in early March that Grier visited the Mountaineers’ campus, which began speculation that he may join the program.

Grier decided to transfer from Florida back in December after his year-long suspension handed down by the NCAA after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.

His suspension came on Oct. 12, but per the NCAA’s transfer rules, Grier won’t be eligible to play for West Virginia in 2016. However, sources tell ESPN’s Travis Haney that it’s still unclear how much of a punishment Grier is facing.

Before deciding to transfer from UF, ESPN reported that the Gators wanted to appeal whether Grier would have to miss any games this fall. ESPN’s sources say West Virginia will attempt to get Grier eligible for its 2017 season opener as a redshirt junior.
