Elijah Holyfield, the four-star Atlanta prospect, committed to the Bulldogs over Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee, among others.

According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Holyfield is the country’s No. 5 overall running back and the state of Georgia’s No. 17 overall prospect for the class of 2016.

Holyfield became the Bulldogs’ 17th commitment for the class of 2016, and he’s the son of former heavyweight boxing legend Evander, so questioning his competitiveness likely will never happen. Holyfield racked up 1,735 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns as a junior.
