Has true freshman Jacob Eason already cemented himself as Georgia’s No. 1 quarterback? Probably not, but the Bulldogs’ youngest signal caller was seen taking all the first team reps during the media’s Wednesday viewing periods.

Considering the Sept. 3 Atlanta season opener against North Carolina is still over two weeks, for competitive purposes, Georgia wouldn’t likely name its starting quarterback even if one player had emerged from the pack. However, it will be interesting to see how many first-team reps senior Greyson Lambert and junior Brice Ramsey get in the practices to come.

Georgia fans may want to remember the date Aug. 17, as it could be the day Eason seized the quarterback reigns in Athens and never relinquishes them during his UGA career.
