Signing Day surprise

  • Georgia’s coaching staff worked tirelessly to convince five-star defensive tackle Trent Thompson that the Bulldogs were the perfect fit. He’s the first domino in what could be one of Mark Richt’s best overall defensive classes during his tenure. Four-star uncommitted linebacker Roquan Smith is expected to follow suit as well as rangy defensive end Chidi Valentine-Okeke.
