Georgia running back Sony Michel re-injured his collarbone during spring practice, according to multiple reports. The school has yet to confirm the report.

Michel missed five games in 2014 for the same injury. Although the injury is of concern, Michel is expected to participate in summer workouts, and at the very latest, be back for fall camp.

Although the Bulldogs are loaded at the position, Michel flashed superior skills last season, rushing for 410 yards and five touchdowns in eight games, and he’s a big-time player and asset when he’s healthy.

The Bulldogs welcome back injured Keith Marshall for spring practice, adding to the plethora of elite running backs in Nick Chubb, AJ Turman and Brendan Douglas.

Update: Mark Richt spoke about Michel’s injury following practice Thursday.
