Georgia got a verbal commitment from a four-star offensive tackle Thursday that didn’t even list the Bulldogs among his Top 10 choices a few months ago.

The 6-foot-6, 311-pound E.J. Price (Archer High School/Lawrenceville, Ga.) represents “a signature recruiting win” for new Georgia offensive line coach Rob Sale, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Ranked by 247Sports as the ninth-best 2016 prospect from Georgia, Price gives the Bulldogs the top two prep offensive linemen in the state. Five-star Ben Cleveland, already committed, projects to play guard at Georgia, according to the AJC. He’s 6-foot-7 and 322 pounds as a current high school junior.

The Bulldogs also have a commitment from three-star guard Aaron Dowdell (6-foot-4.5, 290 pounds), giving the ’16 class plenty of big bodies already.

Four of the 10 best players from Georgia’s ’16 prep class have committed, and the Bulldogs expect to get three of them. The fourth, four-star athlete Demetris Robertson, has committed to Alabama.
