Vince Marrow serves as Kentucky’s tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator. The second-year assistant has helped the Wildcats find success on the recruiting trail, with 21 commitments since arriving in Lexington in December 2012.

Marrow is responsible for seven commitments in Kentucky’s current recruiting class, including top prospect C.J. Contrad. Conrad is a four-star tight end that joins an offense that saw little production from the position. Seniors Steven Borden and Ronnie Shields combined for seven catches for 62 yards and zero touchdowns.

Marrow also earned commitments from a pair of four-star defensive backs, who also happen to be twins. Cornerback David Dowell and Andrew Dowell will join a talented Kentucky secondary that already includes marcus McWilson, a former four-star prospect also recruited by Marrow.

Marrow joined the Wildcats as a the Tight Ends Coach days after Mark Stoops’ hire. One year later, Marrow was promoted to Recruiting Coordinator. Despite little production from the tight end position, Marrow’s recruiting classes have been a drastic improvement from the previous coaching regime.

Kentucky currently ranks No. 28 overall and finished No. 22 in 2014 and No. 34 in 2013. The Wildcats ranked No. 50 in Joker Phillips’ final season with the team.
