After some staff shakeup earlier this offseason, it looks like LSU isn’t done with coaching searches. On Sunday, the school announced that wide receivers coach Adam Henry is leaving the Tigers to take a position with the San Francisco 49ers.

Henry had been at the school since 2012 and recently was given a two-year contract extension. He came to the Tigers from the NFL, having worked with the Oakland Raiders before his stint with LSU.

The Tigers’ replacement for Henry will be the third new assistant on Les Miles’ staff, joining defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and defensive line coach Ed Orgeron.

Henry was vital in recruiting two receiver signees in this year’s recruiting class; 247sports lists him as the primary recruiter for both four-star Derrick Dillon and three-star Brandon Martin, both of whom flipped to LSU from other SEC programs on National Signing Day.
