Headlines were made last week when former LSU OL Willie Allen, who had already declared his intentions to transfer, was blocked from going to TCU.

According to The Advocate, LSU claims that the reason for blocking Allen to TCU is that he and a staff member had impermissible contact, a source told the paper. Nonetheless, it won’t matter for Allen, because he’s heading to Tyler Junior College in Texas, per the report.

Allen signed with the Tigers in the class of 2016. He exited high school in New Orleans ranked as the No. 17 OT prospect and the state’s No. 10 overall prospect for the class of 2016, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Still, Allen isn’t bitter at LSU for blocking him from going to TCU, “I have nothing but love and respect for Coach O and all of my brothers at LSU.”

Allen became the second uber-talented player to leave the program this off-season. Former 4-star CB Saivion Smith also transferred to JUCO.
