It was the play that decided one of Saturday’s biggest games.

LSU kicker Trent Domingue ran 16 yards on a fake field goal to score a touchdown and give the sixth-ranked Tigers a 35-28 lead over No. 8 Florida with 10:40 left in the game. Domingue’s touchdown wound up being the deciding score in Saturday’s top 10 matchup.

After the game, LSU head coach Les Miles was asked why he decided to call the fake field goal. His response was simple.

LSU is now 6-0, and 4-0 in SEC play. The Tigers host Western Kentucky next Saturday at 7 p.m.
