LSU announced that defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao has been dismissed from the team.

“Trey is no longer a member of our football team,” Les Miles said in a statement. “We have gathered information on this incident and we feel it’s best for us to part ways.”

Lealaimatafao was arrested for simple battery and simple robbery on June 18 stemming from a fight in the parking lot of a Baton Rouge bar. He was booked for felony charges after beating an unnamed male victim unconscious and then punching the victim’s girlfriend in the face.
