Cornerback Rashard Robinson’s and fullback Melvin Jones’ LSU careers may already be over.

Neither are enrolled for the spring semester, according to the university. Jones missed the Music City Bowl, and Robinson missed every game since the 10th week of the season against Alabama.

Robinson and Jones are feared academic casualties, and both leave sizable holes to fill, potentially leaving freshmen to help fill the void.

Robinson was one of the country’s up-and-coming cornerbacks with lockdown ability opposite Tre’Davious White, while Jones was next in line to replace Connor Neighbors at fullback.
