LSU is so loaded with talent it’s easy to forget they have a former five-star recruit and Top 20 nationally-rated prospect on offense not named Leonard Fournette. For all the fanfare the Tigers’ star runner has gotten since his arrival, junior receiver Malachi Dupre may be just as gifted.

As a sophomore, Dupre caught 43 passes for 698 yards and six touchdowns and had big games against Florida, Arkansas and in the bowl game against Texas Tech but struggled to make a huge impact on the season outside of those three games.

If LSU can find a way to make Dupre a larger part of the offense this season, the uber-talented receiver has the athleticism to make some plays.

What some proof? Check out this video of Dupre catching passes with one hand that Bruce Feldman posted over at FOX Sports:

Here’s another video of Dupre showing off his amazing leaping ability on the basketball court. His head is well above the rim on one of those dunks.

Even Brandon Harris should have a hard time overthrowing a receiver that get that high off the ground.
