Former Mississippi State WR reportedly shot, killed overnight
According to wtok.com, a shooting took place late Friday night in Meridian, Miss. and no details confirmed the name of the victim. This morning, former Mississippi State teammates got the news that the victim was former State wide receiver Chris Smith.

Smith, who played for the Bulldogs from 2009-2013, caught 109 passes for 1,180 yards and four touchdowns in his collegiate career.
