Fans either love or hate Mississippi State’s alternate helmets

In Mississippi State’s first home game since Veterans Day (Nov. 11), the Bulldogs are wearing an alternate uniform the “Primeknit A1 ‘Statesman’” inspired by the Mississippi Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster III, the Spirit of G.V. ‘Sonny’ Montgomery.
In addition to an alternate jersey and pants, the uniform features a helmet with the script Mississippi look.
Mississippi State is selling the special helmets from the Arkansas game starting Monday at https://t.co/SAUd043vlo, all proceeds going to the Sonny Montgomery Center for America’s Veterans.

Fans on social media are split on whether they love or hate the helmets.
