Mizzou's Harold Brantley will miss 2015 season after car accident
HOOVER, Ala. — Mizzou head coach Gary Pinkel revealed Wednesday at SEC Media Days that standout defensive tackle Harold Brantley will miss the 2015 season due to injuries sustained in last month’s car accident.
Pinkel provided an update on Brantley’s condition and said the team’s top returning pass rusher was “very lucky to be alive” after the Chrysler Concorde he was driving traveled off the left side of the road when he overcorrected to the right.
Gary Pinkel says Harold Brantley will not play this year, but says he can be 100 percent again: “he’s very lucky to be alive.”
