According to 247sports.com, another Florida Gator has been suspended for off-field issues just days before the Citrus Bowl matchup against No. 14 Michigan.

Freshman RB Jordan Scarlett was arrested on campus on Dec. 19 for marijuana possession.

When UFPD arrived at the apartment in question, Scarlett cooperated and admitted to the officers that he had marijuana and had been smoking it.

His court date is set for Jan. 6.

Earlier today, Florida head coach Jim McElwain announced the No. 19 Gators would enter the Citrus Bowl without OT Mason Halter and LB Anthony Harrell because of academic ineligibility.
