Arkansas has allowed Nike to work its magic in recent years from an apparel perspective including the introduction of anthracite, black and monochrome white alternate looks. Since 1964, Arkansas has donned its familiar cardinal red helmet with a white Razorback logo, though the graphic has been updated several times.

Cardinal on white and white on white has been the go-to combination at home and on the road throughout team history. It wasn’t until the Lou Holtz era in the late 1970s that Arkansas began wearing red pants — an early alternate — on occasion.

Since the start of the 2011 season, Arkansas has sported at least six different helmets including two variations of its white lid and a USA-inspired on Sept. 10, 2011. Prior to the start of last season, Arkansas’ 113-year-old primary logo became the brother of a new secondary ‘forward-facing’ hog graphic to adorn new uniforms. The brand change also included updated typography and wordmarks courtesy of the Swoosh.
