The incoming freshman class at Baylor is supposed to enroll on Monday, but in the wake of serious allegations against the school that culminated in the firing of head coach Art Briles, several top football recruits may not be among the enrollees.

According to an ESPN report, Kedrick James, the nation’s No. 9 tight end in the class of 2016, has already de-committed from the Bears.

James took to Twitter to announce his decision:

Arkansas and Texas A&M were among the schools recruiting the four-star tight end before he chose Baylor and the Aggies figure to be in the mix for James’s services as he re-opens his recruitment.

Meanwhile, Kellen Mond, the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2016 and the jewel of Baylor’s incoming class, is seemingly on the fence about whether or not to don the green and gold. Mond retweeted the following post by Fox San Antonio reporter Chuck Miketinac:

Other recruits who could be on the move after the scandal at Baylor include receiver Hezekiah Jones, who has drawn interest from Texas A&M, and four-star RB Kameron Martin.
