RELATED: Week 13 SEC Bowl Projections

On Friday, we’ll look at the SEC West bowl possibilities. Here’s the East projections …

MIZZOU TIGERS (9-2, 6-1)

One more win and the Tigers are in the SEC Championship Game for the second straight year as Eastern Division champions. Ranked 17th in the latest College Football Playoff poll, winning out would improve Mizzou’s bowl trip but would not be enough to get the Tigers into the final four unless multiple teams ahead of them falter.

Most likely

  • Outback
  • Citrus
  • Texas

GEORGIA BULLDOGS (9-2, 6-2)

Ten wins without an SEC Championship Game berth? That’s the most likely scenario for the Bulldogs who are still hurting from a loss to Florida. If Georgia does make it to Atlanta (thanks Arkansas) and beats the Western Division champ, it’s a New Year’s Six lock.

Most likely

  • Peach
  • Citrus
  • Outback

FLORIDA GATORS (6-4, 4-4)

Can Florida beat Florida State? It isn’t likely, but stranger things have happened on rivalry weekend. Will Muschamp won’t coach the bowl game, but he won’t be far away if the Gators play in Jacksonville.

Most likely

  • TaxSlayer
  • Belk
  • Birmingham

SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS (6-5, 3-5)

South Carolina has a chance to salvage its season in the Palmetto Bowl at Clemson, a game that will also improve the Gamecocks’ bowl invite with a victory.

Most likely

  • Music City
  • Belk
  • Liberty

TENNESSEE VOLS (5-6, 2-5)

The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl in Jacksonville appeared to be a stretch, but it’s not going to happen now that Tennessee lost to Mizzou last week. With a win over Vanderbilt on Saturday, the Vols will likely be shipped to Birmingham. Any takers?

Most likely

  • Birmingham
  • Music City
  • Liberty
