5-star RB lists six SEC teams in top 10
Clinton, Miss.- native Cam Akers, the No. 1 recruit from the state of Mississippi, listed six SEC schools in his top 10.
Akers’ top 10 includes Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Cal, LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Akers is the No. 15 overall prospect and No. 2 running back of the 2017 class, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
As a junior at Clinton High School, Akers rushed for 1,418 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also had six games where he rushed for more than 100 yards.
