Scouting and identifying the nation’s top quarterback prospects is an arduous task but one that the Elite 11 sets out to accomplish each and every year. Considering the success the alumni of the event have had in the past, the Elite 11 camp has proven a solid indicator of the future of the position at both the college football and NFL levels.

Monday evening, the Elite 11 announced the 24 campers selected to participate in the June 3-5 Elite 11 finals in Los Angeles. The camp is hosted annually by former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer.

Of the 24 participants, seven of the quarterbacks are currently committed to SEC schools including:

  • Alabama commit Tua Tagovailoa of Honolulu, Hawaii
  • Georgia commit Jake Fromm of Warner Robbins, Georgia
  • Florida commit Jake Allen of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  • LSU commit Lowell Narcisse of Saint James, Louisiana
  • LSU commit Myles Brennan of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi
  • Kentucky commit Mac Jones of Jacksonville, Florida
  • Texas A&M commit Connor Blumrick of Pearland, Texas

Campers not currently committed to SEC schools but being actively recruited by them include:

  • Auburn target Kellen Mond of Bradenton, Florida
  • Tennessee target Jack Sears of San Clemente, California

Former Elite 11 finalists currently on SEC rosters include starting quarterbacks: Chad Kelly (Ole Miss), Joshua Dobbs (Tennessee), Drew Lock (Missouri), Drew Barker (Kentucky) and potentially Sean White (Auburn), Luke Del Rio (Florida), Blake Barnett (Alabama), Jacob Eason (Georgia) and Brandon McIlwain (South Carolina).

Other SEC quarterbacks from former Elite 11 Finals rosters include: Austin Appleby (Florida), Ricky Town (Arkansas), Feleipe Franks (Florida), Jarrett Guarantano (Tennessee) and Shea Patterson (Ole Miss).

10 of the last 11 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks participated in either the Elite 11 Finals or Elite 11 regional camps.
