Florida and Tennessee in, South Carolina out.

There’s major changes in our Bowl Projections this week after a pair of unpredictable outcomes in the SEC East on Saturday.

Florida’s win over Georgia all but eliminates the Bulldogs from the Playoff picture while the Vols’ victory in Columbia, S.C., betters the chances Butch Jones’ squad goes bowling. If you consider a win over South Alabama, the Gamecocks (4-5) must now beat Florida or Clemson to be bowl eligible at 6-6.

The Citrus Bowl’s SEC at-large pick got a lot more interesting thanks to Auburn’s win over previously-Top 5 ranked Ole Miss. Does Orlando take Mizzou or the Rebels if both teams finish with nine wins? If Ole Miss is the choice, the Outback Bowl (Tampa) has the option of LSU or Mizzou for its game, and historically, that committee prefers the West.

That would push Gary Pinkel’s Tigers, at 9-3 overall (Georgia winning the East), to a possible matchup with Baylor in the Texas Bowl, one of the more intriguing scenarios.
