The NFL has released its list of invitees for the scouting combine later this month and the SEC will be heavily represented. Out of 323 total players invited, 69 come from the SEC. Alabama leads the way with 11 total players invited, while every school but Vanderbilt will have representation.

The combine is a week-long event that kicks off the official start of NFL draft season. From February 17-23, NFL scouts, general managers and the like will have plenty of time to watch draft prospects run through drills and get weighed and measured, as well as get the opportunity to interview players.

Of course, earning a combine invitation is not a prerequisite for NFL success; in fact, it doesn’t even guarantee a player will be drafted. There were more invitations given than there are draft slots for the 2015 NFL draft, meaning a chunk of players at the combine will go undrafted.
