Navigating through the week-to-week nightmare that is an eight-game SEC schedule is difficult enough, but add in a neutral site game against a nationally-ranked opponent or an unbalanced road slate against elite teams and it creates a near impossible task.

RELATED: SEC’s toughest home schedules in 2015

For Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss to compete for a conference title and Playoff berth this season, those three will have to execute to near perfection away from home against three of college football’s toughest road schedules.

All opinions will differ in terms of ranking schedule difficulty, but I’ve tried looking at each game (and most importantly, where it comes during the season) to project an opponent’s overall value and possible ranking at that time. FYI, we’ve counted neutral site games as road games.

Schedule notes: The Crimson Tide take two, possibly three, Top 10 teams on the road depending on where the Badgers are ranked to start the season … Ole Miss is the SEC’s only team to battle divisional heavyweights Alabama and Auburn away from home and goes out of conference to play Memphis, a team that won 10 games last season and gave the Rebels a game for three quarters. They’ll have to find a way to beat Mississippi State and Florida on the road too … Forced to play all three division frontrunners away from Williams-Brice Stadium this season in addition to a trip to Kyle Field, South Carolina has the Eastern Division’s toughest road slate.
