With all the uproar surrounding satellite camps and Northern schools attempting to raid the talent-rich South, one of the top prospects from New Jersey very well could end up relocating to the South and playing in the SEC.

Defensive tackle prospect Fred Hansard released his Top 9 Monday and Alabama, Florida and Tennessee all made the list. Hansard released this message via his Twitter account:

“First I’d like to take the time to thank all the schools that recruited me and gave me an opportunity to play for their University. I am extremely blessed and thankful for that. Ever since I was young I dreamed to be in the position I am at right now. Without God none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank my parents and family for providing me everything I need to be successful. Without the Coaching I have now, I really wouldn’t know where I would at this moment in my life. Without further or do (sic), these are the schools I will be choosing from to continue my next 3-4 years journey !! #GodBless”

The 6-foot-3, 324-pound Hansard is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 146 prospect in the nation and the No. 10 defensive tackle in the country, according to 247Sports Composite Ratings. He currently holds over 30 scholarship offers from many of the nation’s elite programs.

The Gators have said to have made Hansard a top priority, while the big defensive tackle is scheduled to visit Knoxville this month for Tennessee’s Big Orange Carpet Day recruiting event on June 18.
