South Carolina adds big name to list of early signings

Will Muschamp’s work on the recruiting trail is starting to show its dividends.

The new South Carolina coach received the paperwork from one of his biggest catches to date on Wednesday, as four-star WR Bryan Edwards officially became a Gamecock:

USC officially announces that Bryan Edwards has signed and will enroll in January. Joins Freeman, McIlwain and King.

Edwards, who hails from Conway, S.C., committed to South Carolina on Dec. 15, according to 247Sports, and has been selected to play U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
