Steve Spurrier confirms Gamecocks to don all-black alternate uniforms Saturday
Steve Spurrier confirmed Wednesday that South Carolina will bring out its all-black alternate uniforms Saturday night against Tennessee. Black jerseys and pants will be worn with this season’s white helmet.
Here’s how it will look:
Gerald Dixon and Mike Davis prematurely announced the plan on Tuesday, but no source from the university would confirm this weekend’s apparel surprise.

The Gamecocks’ official equipment account on Twitter trolled the uniform leak, posting several tweets rejecting the idea on Tuesday:
