You figured Will Muschamp would make a good hire to guide his defense, and he did.

On Tuesday, Travaris Robinson confirmed on Twitter that he’ll officially be South Carolina’s new defensive coordinator .

Robinson, 34, was the defensive backs coach at Auburn while working with Muschamp this past season, and he previously spent four years with him at Florida in the same position.

Robinson is also regarded as one of the top recruiters in the country.
