They’re the new kids on the block.

Outside of a couple of old rivals, the Aggies don’t have a lot of history with the rest of the teams in the SEC. They added to those totals this season by finishing with a 4-4 record against conference foes.

In fact, there are only three teams in the SEC in which Texas A&M has played more than 10 games with over its storied history. Two of those are lengthy rivalries as fierce as any the Aggies cultivated either as members of the Big 12 or the previous and now defunct Southwest Conference.

One of those, Arkansas, is a historical rivalry that dates back to the old SWC days. The Razorbacks have gotten the better of it down through the years, holding a 41-28-3 advantage over the Aggies.

The rivalry with LSU has almost equal history. The Tigers and Aggies have gotten together 54 times with LSU enjoying a 31-20-3 edge in the series.

Texas A&M and Missouri began a rivalry as members of the Big 12. Still in its infancy, the Aggies have the slim 8-7 lead in the series.

After that, there isn’t much to go on. Four SEC teams have faced the Aggies just twice, and another only three times. The Aggies have winning records all-time against three SEC West foes (Ole Miss, Auburn, Mississippi State) and four teams from the SEC East (South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Missouri).

Here’s how Texas A&M has fared all-time against the SEC entering the 2016 season.
