Tennessee-Appalachian State game date moved
The Tennessee Volunteers announced that this season’s opening matchup against Appalachian State has moved to Thursday, September 1 on the SEC Network. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The game was previously scheduled to be Sunday, September 3. The change puts the Vols on the national stage. Plus, it gives Tennessee two additional days to prepare for Virginia Tech.
The game will kick off the opening weekend of college football on the SEC Network.
