Auburn coach Gus Malzahn made a big switch earlier this season.

No, not at quarterback or any position on the offense — in his headgear.

Gone was his traditional visor — in its place, white hat. However, after switching back to the visor for the Iron Bowl, he told AL.com he’ll stick with that look for the Sugar Bowl:

“You know I’m probably going to go back to the visor,” Malzahn said during an appearance on the SEC Network. “My girls got on me earlier in the season. I had the hat and I got to go back to the visor; especially if we’re playing inside.”

It’s safe to say Malzahn’s wife and daughters would like him to go back to the hat, which they said hides his balding head, but it seems as though his mind is made up.

Auburn takes on Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2. We’ll have to wait until then to see if the visor brings him luck again.
