Recently departed offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin may not be calling plays for Alabama in Monday’s national championship game against Clemson, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be at the stadium.

According to Kiffin on Tuesday morning’s Mike & Mike show, the school is looking into whether or not he can be on the sidelines or in the press box for the big game:

Though Kiffin and Nick Saban have had their loud disagreements in the past, this Crimson Tide squad wouldn’t be where it is today without Kiffin’s play-calling skills.

Therefore, it’s only right that he be allowed to be somewhere near the team as Alabama goes for its second-straight national title on Monday night.
