Though Duron Carter was never able to actually get on the field for Alabama due to eligibility issues, the former Crimson Tide player has managed to carve out a nice career for himself north of the border.

Now playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Carter — the son of NFL legend Cris Carter — had a huge game on Saturday against the Toronto Argonauts.

He finished the 38-27 Saskatchewan victory with nine catches for 131 yards and two touchdowns, turning in this incredible catch-of-the-year candidate as well:

With skills like that, it’s fair to wonder why Carter hasn’t made it in the NFL. He spent the 2015 season with the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad, but was let go after the year.

For now, though, it seems as if he’s content tearing it up and making incredible catches in the Canadian Football League.
