Nick Chubb is chasing multiple Georgia rushing records this season.

The Georgia RB made Bulldogs fans very happy when he announced his decision to return for his senior season, and his assault on the UGA record books continued Saturday night. Chubb reached the 100-yard mark against Samford just before halftime for his 19th career game of 100 or more yards rushing.

Chubb has now passed former UGA standout Todd Gurley for second on the Bulldogs all-time list. Gurley posted 18 100-yard rushing games from 2012-14. Chubb is still 10 games behind Herschel Walker who holds UGA’s all-time record for 100-yard performances.

SEC Network tweeted out Chubb’s accomplishment:

Chubb still has an outside chance at catching and passing Walker’s record of 29 games, but it would take a Heisman-worthy season and an SEC Championship Game appearance from the Bulldogs to pull it off.
