The No. 2 Penn State Nittany Lions took care of business against Michigan at home on Saturday night, but as the final seconds were running off the clock, the fans did something that is always ill-advised.

The fans started chanting “We want Bama!” as the win over Michigan was secured, filling the stadium with the chant.

As you can hear in the video below, it was quite the cheer, and the Nittany Lions’ faithful truly believe they can compete with the Crimson Tide:

However, with a game against a tough Ohio State team in Columbus next weekend, perhaps Penn State should be focused in on the Buckeyes, not the Crimson Tide.

Even Georgia sophomore Mecole Hardman knows it’s unwise to call out Alabama, cautioning Penn State fans to take things one game at a time:

Indeed, former Alabama assistant Kirby Smart, now in his second year at the helm of the Georgia program, knows not to look too far ahead, so he’ll have his team ready to go for Saturday’s game against Florida.

Though the Bulldogs are cruising toward an SEC Championship Game matchup against the Crimson Tide, there is a lot of work left to do before that point.
