Chief meltdown: Tennessee Titans comeback leads to mockery of Kansas City
This year’s NFL playoffs got off to a crazy start as Saturday’s Wild Card game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans had a little bit of everything.
Former Florida WR Demarcus Robinson caught his first NFL touchdown for the Chiefs. Marcus Mariota recorded his first playoff touchdown by catching his own tipped pass. Former Alabama RB Derrick Henry ran through the Kansas City defense on a 35-yard touchdown run. Mariota threw a key block for Henry, his fellow former Heisman winner, to help secure the 22-21 win for the Titans.
Not surprisingly, Twitter had plenty to say.
Simply amazing. 😱
