Sore subject: Jeremy Pruitt, Kevin Sherrer haven’t talked about CFP title game just yet

On Monday night, Alabama DC Jeremy Pruitt and the Crimson Tide beat Georgia LB coach Kevin Sherrer and the Bulldogs in the National Championship Game.
That makes things a bit awkward now as Pruitt, Tennessee’s new head coach, now has a ring, while his new defensive coordinator does not.
However, according to Pruitt, the two coaches shared a flight from Atlanta to Knoxville and have yet to discuss the game (via 247Sports):
“After the game, we both flew back here together,” Pruitt said. “You know, when you play the game, somebody’s gonna win and somebody’s gonna lose. We knew that going into it, and that’s the way it’s always gonna be, and it’s tough for whoever’s on the other side of it.
“We’ve both been there on both sides, and it is what it is.”
It’s sure to come up at some point, but it’ll likely be an amicable discussion between the new colleagues.
Now, both coaches have turned their attention toward trying to win a title together on Rocky Top.
