The Ole Miss Rebels may be banned from postseason play in 2018, but that won’t affect incoming freshmen too much.
Still, the Rebels and head coach Matt Luke got a big commitment on Monday evening when 4-star WR Miles Battle, a Texas native, announced he was heading to Oxford.
Battle, who was also considering Oregon, announced his decision on Twitter with a video, as you can see below:

According to the 247Sports composite, Battle is the No. 56 receiver in the class of 2018 and the No. 42 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
Ole Miss now has 19 players in its 2018 class. Per 247Sports, the Rebels’ class ranks No. 9 in the SEC and No. 28 nationally.
